Duck Duck Goose

Posted on: April 5th, 2022 by Lorna McMahon

I have been welcoming spring for weeks now, it seems.

And today’s running around to do errands did not disappoint.

As I was walked to my truck in the morning, a flock of Canadian Geese flew overhead.

And as I was taking these photos, a few ducks took off, high into the sun.

No matter what time of the season it is, there is no doubt that I LOVE quilting!

I put a lot of love into the making of this cute quilt. From choosing fabrics to adding little touches like this Flecked binding. I was a bit short on my binding at the end, so I added a few scraps to add interest. It reminds me of the stripes on the Mallard’s wing.

Quilted in organic wavy lines from edge to edge using blue on top and white on the back.

My Duck Duck Goose quilt finished at 52″ x 52″
