Book Shelf Cats
Happy little kittens on a book shelf.
This sweet make reminds me a lot of my first quilt, designed with my daughter in mind. She loved cats and she loved reading. And still does! She will be graduating from university this spring and will be a physical education teacher!
I used a lot of the same cool blues and greens from the last quilt to make the books. I love how they turned out!
I had a lot of fun choosing the selvages for my book spines. I think I need to make some more things with them soon.
My favourite book on the shelf? The Joy of Painting by Bob Ross.
The quilting is my usual organic wavy lines from edge to edge, using plain white thread.
