Busy Bears and Bees

Posted on: April 30th, 2022 by Lorna McMahon

Happy to report that we took advantage of the beautiful weather and got ourselves outdoors on Friday.

Picked up my sister bear and drove into our hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

First stop, down by the Avon river.

Oh, that’s right! We’re supposed to be taking photos of the quilt.

Stratford’s river drive is rife with wildlife right now. Especially the feathered kind.

Quilted in organic wavy lines from edge to edge using white on top and on the back.

Okay so maybe the river drive wasn’t our first stop. Hey! Squirrel!!!

My Busy Bears and Bees quilt finished at 50″ x 50″

More Stratford sister shenanigans coming soon!

Beautiful quilt. So cute. Isn’t it great when sisters get together!? Love all the pics. Nice park I have only been to Stratford twice. Once for a show, and once for shopping. Nice little town.
