Bears, Foxes and Bunnies visit the flower Beds

Posted on: April 30th, 2022 by Lorna McMahon

Finished my Bears, Foxes and Bunnies in Beds!

Then we took them to the Shakespearean Gardens of our historic hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

My sister and I took another trip down memory lane.

You can see in the background that we are still along the Avon river.

This garden is at the other end of the river, and there are historic buildings, nearby. The courthouse, old archives and jailhouse. And our high school.

Nap time! LOL!

I am sure we will make more trips to this garden as the season progresses and things get greener.

Here are the little foxes with their birch trees and birdies.

Croissant?

All three of these quilts were quilted using white thread and organic wavy lines from edge to edge.

Shout out to my sister for successfully doing squats in cowboy boots, without landing on her backside in the dirt!!!

She wanted the purple hyacinths to get in the shot and I agree. Looks great!

Each one of these quilts finished at 40” x 45”.

Quilts finish 40” x 45”.

Bear, Fox and Bunny Head Blocks finish 10” and 5” square.

You can find the pattern here in my NEW SHOP!

Lorna….I absolutely LOVE your foxes in bed pattern! I also need to practice your organic lines quilting. The texture it gives the quilt is so striking. Keep the great patterns coming!

Such cute quilts! Looks like you and your sister had lots of fun. I can’t get over how low the river is. You must not have had as much rain as we have had down here (near Kingston). Our rivers are fast flowing here.
