I love everything about this new POND quilt!!!
These Pond themed blocks were fun to make! Each block finishes at 10″ square.
Lily Pad….
Goldfish….
Dragonfly….
Bullrushes….
The background is from the Lily Pad collection by Debbie Shore for the Craft Cotton Company.
I used this ivy black on white print for the POND letters. And then throughout the quilt – in the reeds of the Bullrushes, the wings of the Dragonflies and in the Lily Pad flowers.
The backing is also from the Lily Pad collection by Debbie Shore for the Craft Cotton Company.
The “P is for POND” quilt finished at 50″ x 62″
Quilted using plain white thread in organic wavy lines using my walking foot on my domestic machine.
And onto the next quilt!!!
All cut out and ready to test the BEACH blocks!
