Lamb Chop baby quilt

I don’t know about you….

But I am in love with this new Lamb Chop quilt!

The backing was pieced using some graphic floral black and white prints found in my stash.
The quilting was performed with edge to edge organic wavy lines made using my walking foot white plain white thread.

Kaylee was my helper. She rounded up those sheep and made them sit in rows.

The Lamb Chop pattern is available in my shop here.

Quilt finishes at 40″ x 44″. Blocks finish at 12″ square.

  1. Were Kaylee's ears used as inspiration for the sheep ears ?? Just too d*** cute. Like all of your animals. Very talented lady you are 🙂

  2. OK, while I LOVE the Lamp Chop, I have to ask \”Is Kaylee a Rat Terrier, and is she your dog/child? The reason I ask is that my husband and I have had four (4) Rat Terriers during the 27 years that we have been together, Stella & Stanley and Thelma & Louise. (Funny names, right? And SO original don't you think?) As always, LOVE all of your quilts. By the way, I am currently working on your full-sized Unicorn Quilt Pattern and loving the process. I have one question for you. Could you explain your wavy quilting on your full-size Unicorn Quilt, or direct me to a good tutorial for it? Thanks so much in advance, keep up the great work that you do, and keep your chin held high!Thanks- Jackson

  3. This is super cute! Your fabric choices were right on and the little striped floral print for the bodies makes it all the more fun! Kaylee is an adorable helper, such a good girl!

  4. Good job, Kaylee. It is hard work getting those sheep all lined up like that. I hope Mom let you watch \”Babe\” first. My dogs say it is a good training film.Love the quilt. Just right for little ones counting sheep.

  5. I am in love with the lambies too! So cute! I have not sewn one of your patterns yet, but I am starting tonight on the foxes in the trees. I found some birch tree fabric, so I will use that instead of the pieced trees. I can't wait to get started. You are amazing!!Julie Vogel in TN
