I Avocado do you?

Posted on: March 19th, 2022 by Lorna McMahon

Welcome SPRING!!!

What a gorgeous day for a drive and a photo shoot.

Took my freshly finished Avocado quilt for a quick trip out of town to this old bridge.

The road is till in use, but the bridge is blocked.

The backing is made from the same background fabric from the front, flanking a strip of peas, carrots and beets fabric. Eat your fruits and veggies!

Quilted in organic wavy lines using green variegated thread on top and white in the bobbin.

My Avocado lap quilt finished at 50″ x 66″

I used my medium and small sized test blocks to make a couple of table runners.

Eat your MORE fruits and veggies!!!

Same quilting method – green variegated thread on top and white on the bottom.

My Avocado table runners finished at 7″ x 16.5″ and 10.5″ x 26″

The pattern comes with three quilt sizes: 13” x 17”, 25″ x 33″ and 50” x 66”.

Blocks finish 2.5″ x 3.5″, 5″ x 7″ or 10″ x 14″.

You can find the pattern here in my NEW SHOP!
