Ballet Dancers
Welcome to the NEW Sew Fresh Quilts BLOG!!!
Today I am sharing another recent finish from the Ballet School pattern!

Made using the Ballet School pattern in the 3 in a Row setting.
I love the close up details in the fabrics.

I don’t often use pink – but I love the softness of this palette.

I found this pink and green floral print in my stash for the backing.

And quilted in my usual horizontal organic wavy lines from edge to edge using my walking foot and white thread.

My “Ballerinas in a Row” quilt finished at 33″ x 40″

You can find the finished Ballet Dancers quilt for sale in my NEW SHOP.

Each spring for the past ten years, Sarah Craig of Confessions of a Fabric Addict, has challenged the quilt-blogging community to reach out beyond themselves to benefit others as part of the Hands2Help Comfort Quilt Challenge. Each year many of them rise up and donate hundreds of quilts as part of the Challenge, working with their own supplies and putting their hearts into each of the quilts. Last year, despite the restrictions COVID placed on us, there were 117 participants who made more than 526 quilts, bringing the total number of quilts donated to nearly 3000 over the past ten years!
Sarah says, in part, “I will leave it up to you as to the size of the quilt you make; I would, however, love for us to each share the story of the person we give these quilts to, and I’ll have a special link-up party for sharing them. I do hope everyone will join in – let’s spread hope and love this year!”
Please consider joining Sarah and myself in this Comfort Quilt Challenge.
Did I mention…. There will be prizes for ALL of the participants?

They are All STUNNING ! The creations you create with fabrics amazes my poor , feeble brain. You are truly an ARTIST !!!
these are all wonderful
They are adorable. Too bad that my grand niece is into soccer instead of ballet which is my heart.
Lorna your quilt designs are just beautiful. I can almost always find one of your patterns to be the “perfect” pattern for a quilt project. I’m guessing that one of my quilty friends will need this pattern for a quilt for her granddaughter who is a dancer. Thanks for all you do for our community. I love doing Sarah’s H2H Challenge.
I love doing charity work and I haven’t heard of the H2H Challenge!! I’m in! Thx so much for telling us about it!
