Let’s Bee Social #235

Posted on: July 25th, 2018 by Lorna McMahon

Welcome to the Let’s Bee Social!

Here’s a friendly email I received last week from Jill.

Hi Lorna!!

So, I was up late last night, and wanted to finish this up – those silly paw prints take a bit of time!!  🙂

I’m so happy how this turned out, I wanted to share it with you.

Initially I had another bear paw pattern (Brrrrr!), and unfortunately yours didn’t have the same size blocks, so I had to convert everything.  I think it turned out wonderful!!  Yay Excel and me not having to do the math!!  😊

Anyway, this was sent off today to Missouri Quilt Co. for quilting, and I’m really excited to get it back.  I think I’m going to join the local guild just to put this in for judging!

Oh – and look at the corners – I figured out how to do a 45 paw print and used that instead of just a blank.  🙂

Feel free to share with your blog!  And thanks so much for all your wonderful patterns!

Jill

I still get compliments on my Mod Bear Paw quilt. Mine is a polar bear, baby quilt size, and it is hanging on my wall. Such a great pattern!

This is a beautiful but very ambitious pattern. Didn’t Jill do a fantabulous job? I can’t imagine what a warm, fuzzy feeling it must be to see one of your patterns completed!
