Vintage Wedding Quilt
The Vintage Wedding Quilt is done and is now listed for sale in my shop here!
The backing is from the Urban Artifacts collection by RJR Fabrics, which you can view here. I am simply in LOVE with this print! The colours, the dots, the flowers and the text. It is just such a fun print!
Unfortunately… It is also all gone. I used the last pieces from my stash, along with a strip of Kona Coal to join the pieces along the vertical.
I wish I had used a dark grey print for the jacket to provide a greater contrast with the suit pants. But I love that fun rain drop print and do appreciate the subtle difference.
The same fabric from the suit pants was used for the binding.

His jacket is perfect, and the turquoise for the bride, beautiful.
Beautiful! Love the colors and the quilting.
Very nice! I have to say….this quilt reminds me of a scene in Beetlejuice 🙂
This is so cute Lorna! It would make a great wedding gift. True fact– my grandmother's wedding dress was lavender! No clue what my grandfather wore. Have a great weekend!
you know I love the quilt, but I really love the backing fabric.
So sweet! This would be neat as an anniversary gift! Well done!
I made a quilt for our son's wedding last year and than appliqued hearts and squares that wedding guest had signed. This would be a great quilt for that.
Cute Quilt, but I love the backing fabric!!! domestic cotton or is it a batik?
Very cute! This would be a great quilt for a wedding where the attendees could all sign it.
Very nice. That is an awesome backing. Sorry to hear it's all gone.
On wedding day, I had a complimentary attendant, who was helpful in getting my husband and myself champagne, and she also made sure that we were eating. I gave my heartfelt appreciation to the staff at wedding venues here for their tremendous effort in making our day the most special day of our lives.
