Let’s Bee Social # 209

Posted on: December 27th, 2017 by Lorna McMahon
Welcome to the Let’s Bee Social!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to celebrating the New Year. It’s almost here! Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my Best of 2017 and Plans for 2018 post I shared on Christmas Eve. It was my 5 year blogiversary and I am so blessed to have been able make so many friends through this blog. Your support of this Let’s Bee Social means so much to me and so do all the kind comments and emails received throughout the years but especially for those sent in response to my post on Sunday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This week I have been working away on my Buffalo Plaid designs. I shared the finished Moose quilt in this post. The Bear is now finished and will be posted this Friday. And now I am working on the Wolf quilt.

I decided to make one quilt with both wolf silhouettes included. And I centered them. This one will finish around 52″ x 68″ and is planned to be backed with a blue plaid flannel.

Now… It’s your turn for Show and Tell!!!

What have you been working on?

Both wolves, and perfect with the blue. Hope you had a stress-free Christmas, with your plans in your mind and heart, words have already said so much, please keep us up to date with how you are. A cooler day here, winter jacket and slippers on tonight!!!

  2. Lorna, beautiful work. I just could not comment on Sunday, had no words. Your work is beautiful and I wish we could get you in Buffalo, but I know you can't work across the border. Maybe if you ever come to Fort Erie, I could hop across the bridge. You have a hard road ahead and I pray you can make wise decisions about your future and have the courage to take care of yourself.

  3. Another beauty with the two wolves! You have come so far, Lorna, and I am extremely happy for you. Wishing you the best for 2018 – and to keep putting all in God's Hands about the future!

  4. Two wolves in one! It looks great on the bed—I’m feeling a need for some of that blue buffalo plaid fabric in my stash….
