Let’s Bee Social # 185

So glad to have you join us for the Let’s Bee Social weekly linky party!

 

This week I have been working on a few raccoon blocks made using solids. I do love using solids. And I like how the eyes are looking particularly sneaky on these little guys.

For this little quilt that finishes at 26″ square, I used the Raccoon Block pattern, which you can find here. The blocks finish at 8″ tall by 10″ wide. Then I added the following background pieces:

2 (A) 2.5″ x 10.5″
2 (B) 4.5″ x 10.5″
3 (C) 2.5″ x 22.5″
2 (D) 2.5″ x 26.5″



Apparently, all this figuring made my quilt assistant very tired. Poor Fluffy!

    Those little mischievous raccoons are adorable! Now I want to make a whole quilt of them, with one little fellow looking to the left and everyone else looking to the right 🙂
