Let’s Bee Social #166
Welcome to the Let’s Bee Social!
Today I’m going to take you for yet another trip down memory lane…
I am so excited to share this quilt made by Lisa.
She emailed me…..
I made this throw for my daughter for her birthday and tried the flange binding for the first time. She loved it!
I am such a sucker for this binding method and you can read my flanged binding tutorial here. It’s a great way to add a little pop of colour and provides a fabulous finish!
Thanks so much for sharing your photos and story with us, Lisa!!!
It was one year ago that I shared the Cat Treats quilt I made. You can read all about the process here in this post.
This quilt is a favourite at the guild trunk shows I’ve been providing. And it was a lot of fun to make. But I’ve always wanted to find the time to do a remake using a pink background!!! Maybe one day?
You can find the pdf version for sale in my shop here.

Lisa did such a beautiful job on her quilt and flange binding – it really does set things off! Love the way the cat is sitting in this pattern with the eyes looking over her/his shoulder!!
What a fun quilt top!
Oh those sly looking kitties =) Pretty as always. =) Thanks for hosting the link.
Oh my gosh -that is just adorable!! Great pattern!!
I haven't made this one yet, but it is one of my favorites of your patterns, right next to Dog Gone Cute 🙂 I'm a sucker for the flanged binding too. I pretty much use it on all my quilt now.
I love your quilting on your version. Are these wavy lines Free Motion? Looks great…..:)
This is a cute and happy quilt. i love the fabrics Lisa used!Well done, Lisa!Yours is cute too, and you should get going on a pink oneI love all of the links shared!
I keep saying that I'm going to try a flange binding, but yet I always seem to forget in the moment of making a binding. I need to make a huge note and hang it my sewing room.
I'd join in, but, blogger changed things, and I can't figure out how to add a button to my blog anymore (I hate all the changes).
Love your quilt – the kitty looks full and mischievous all at the same time! 🙂 It would certainly look great in pink as well! Thank you for hosting this party!
