Let’s Bee Social #101

Posted on: December 2nd, 2015 by Lorna McMahon

Happy December everyone!

I cannot believe we are only 24 days away from celebrating another Christmas. The Sew Fresh Quilts blog will be turning 3 on December 24th. I can’t believe how much things have changed. How many friends I’ve made. And how many quilts we’ve all made!

I am gearing up for a handmade Christmas this year and have a few posts coming up with some quilty makes for friends and family. Are you making gifts this year?

Speaking of gifts….
This week feels a little like an early Christmas. I am so happy to have been able to share with a few lucky readers of the Sew Fresh Quilts blog. The Forest Friends pattern giveaway ended and I have given out most of the free patterns but just waiting for an email address from one of the Facebook winners.

I was so happy when I opened my \”Quiltmaker\” magazine and saw your pattern. I looked at it and thought how it just screams your name…only to see your name and picture attached to it. Congrats! And happy blogiversary! 3 years is awesome.

I usually make gifts as presents for Christmas, but somehow, this year it's not on my list. I guess I have my hands in too many other projects to think about starting something else. I much prefer handmade to store bought, but I have a very practical side to me too that realizes when too much on the list is just too much.Ugghh, 24 days?!? Really?!? I'm so not ready!
